The Friday Harbour resort and residences have developed and grown steadily over the past few years. The area is now home to many residents, and contains amenities such as retail and restaurants, a marina, boat rental facilities, parks, and a small beach.
One of the newest additions is a mid-rise residence with dichroic glass balconies. The effect is elegant and understated during most of the day. At sunset time, when these photographs were taken, the glass colours are more vivid, and change depending on the angle of view and angle of sun.
