Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Courtyard
Eigth and F Streets, NW, Washington, DC
The National Portrait Gallery courtyard renovation was a project to condition the open central courtyard, renovate the space, and create a permanent canopy. The undulating canopy design was by Sir Norman Foster Architects, with Smithgroup as the architect of record.
We were part of the execution team to develop the design drawings from the design architects and to assist in the production of IFC sets from 50% to 100%.
